We are a thriving Art, Craft, Health and Wellbeing centre in the beautiful Cotswolds market town of Dursley. 

We believe that Art and Craft is for everyone, and Kingshill House is a safe space that anyone can come, be creative, enjoy themselves, relax and take their minds off things.  

What's On at Kingshill House

We provide a comprehensive programme of courses and workshops, along with events, exhibitions and markets that are held regularly throughout the year. We aim to curate and run an interesting, challenging, educational, fun and diverse programme. Art and Craft is a powerful tool and our mission is to heal the Mind by focusing on creativity, boosting self-confidence and discovering new strengths and abilities.

Creative Summer School
​Monday 11th - Friday 15th July 2022

Our Creative Summer School has just been launched and you are welcome to join us on this week-long programme, thoughtfully curated to inspire creativity in a mindful and sociable environment.
Workshops will be educational, immersive, and fun. Our varied programme includes lost arts that are making a modern comeback as well as newer crafts that are trending right now. Some offer practical skills and others delight with their quirkiness.
Our tutors have tailored their workshops to complement this year’s focus – Nature. 

A big thank you to Sage Residential for officially supporting the Kingshill House Creative Summer School and enabling the acquisition of four new easels which will be gratefully used during our workshops.

We’ve designed the Creative Summer School programme so that students have an opportunity to try multiple crafts at a lower than usual rate, and this year sees the launch of our loyalty card.
Stamped upon booking your first Creative Summer School workshop, and for each subsequent workshop in 2022 and beyond, the Kingshill House Loyalty Card is valid all year - try six workshops and enjoy 50% off your next booking.
All students who book more than one workshop during the Creative Summer School will receive a Kingshill House tote bag. These can also be purchased for £12 each.  ​

Exhibitions at Kingshill House

Due to the stunning proportions of our Georgian rooms, Kingshill House is perfect to showcase art. We regularly hold exhibitions and work with a range of artists - join our mailing list to hear about future exhibitions at the House. Have a look at our previous work and be inspired!

Wellbeing Classes & Groups

In addition to hosting structured workshops and courses, Kingshill House also delivers informal classes, groups and clubs, who meet regularly at various times and days of the week. Covering a wide range of interests, there is something to suit everyone - from Kundalini Yoga to Tai-Chi. Find out more here.

Family Activities

For 2022 we are curating a family workshop programme. We will have drop-in creative stay and play (lots of fun with different craft materials), music sessions with our own DJ, Joe (come for a boogie!) and lots of outdoor fun in our garden. Second Saturdays of the Month


Come and join us for some creative and imaginative play at Kingshill House! We have lots of materials that children can make into whatever they wish - let their imagination run wild!
Take part in the fun or watch in wonder as the young people create, play freely and explore their imagination in a child focused, informal space.
