Kingshill House Creative Centre is a vibrant community-based arts charity set in a Grade II* Georgian House in the Cotswolds town of Dursley, Gloucestershire. The charity has been part of the Dursley community for over 25 years and it is the only building of its size in the area that provides cultural significance. With an excellent track record of creativity and culture with accessibility at the forefront of our programme, we welcome events of all sizes hosted at the House. Revenue raised from venue hire supports our exhibitions, events, and education programmes. So, by holding your event at Kingshill House Creative Centre, you’ll not only be choosing a unique venue – you’ll be helping us bring our vision to an ever-wider audience and pass the creative beacon to the next generation of creatives.
​The inspirational building itself is an elegant Georgian mansion that dates back to 1705 which was lived in by generations of families and also provided much needed employment to the surrounding community. Many local people remember the House in its later use by Stroud District Council after it was bought at auction in 1934 by the engineering company R A Lister.
