Stained Glass
Stained Glass with Caroline Lambert is one of our most popular courses at Kingshill House. This particular course will give you the opportunity opportunity to try your hand at many different technical skills in addition to basic glass cutting, such as leading, copper foiling, fusing and slumping, as well as surface decoration techniques including traditional lead painting and etching.
All the Stained-Glass courses are mixed ability and are managed so that everyone is working on their own self-directed projects at their own pace. Whether you are a complete beginner or you have previous experience, you will be guided through the various processes and helped to fully explore this vibrant, mindful art in a creative and supportive environment.
All necessary tools and specialist equipment are available for use during the course and there is an extensive stock of glass and materials to purchase, but you are welcome to bring your own too.
Caroline’s Stained-Glass courses are held in the bright and airy Art Room at Kingshill House. They run for 3 x 10 week terms a year.
