Healing the Lost Child - Therapeutic Writing CourseCreative therapeutic writing can promote deep healing around difficult topics, making space for release and growth, enabling us to move forward with a renewed sense of possibility. This 6-week course is an expansive and safely held space dedicated to healing grief and trauma related to the deeply sensitive experiences of stillbirth, miscarriage, infertility, termination or neonatal loss. No previous writing experience is needed at all. This is a healing, expansive, supportive and safely held space to explore, release and reset for the year ahead. Since 2008, Atlanta Rayner has been supporting couples and individuals across all ages, cultures and mental health issues with a wide range of therapeutic support, working for renowned organisations including Relate, Cruise Bereavement and the NHS.
Over many years of work working one-to-one, with couples and with groups, she has gained deep experience and understanding of the patterns of the mind, the stories we tell and how people can be given their own tools to change.
Atlanta’s extensive training includes an Advanced Diploma in Couples Counselling, a Diploma in Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy, and an MSC in Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes. She is a Counsellor and member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and has been a trustee for Footsteps Counselling and Care,as well as developing a free resource for miscarriage, still birth, infertility and pregnancy related issues, available at www.maternitystoriesheal.com.
