Traditional Botanical Drawing & Painting for Advanced Students
8 week course - Thursday 25 January 2024
10 - 12am
Join acclaimed botanical artist, Jenny Brooks, for the second out of 3 terms of traditional botanical drawing and painting.
This term students will be encouraged to work through various assignments; beginning with drawing and painted studies of small plant specimens, then moving on to more complex plant forms.
This will cover additional elements of composition, detail and basic botany, employing more difficult painting techniques, using their growing confidence to organise their own programmes.
Students are required to bring their own materials which include:
- A set of watercolour paints
- Watercolour paper
If you need guidance on which brands and colours to purchase, please ask the tutor in the class or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note: this is term 2 of 3. Term 3 will finish summer 2024 and bookings are open to current Botanical Drawing students only.
If you're thinking of attending this course in the future email email@example.com to register your interest.
