Kundalini Yoga is known as the Yoga of awareness. It builds physical fitness, stamina, self confidence, resilience and strengthens the nervous system. Tension is released during the Kriya. It also works on the glandular system, increases oxygen and encourages circulation in the body. It is an ideal practice for the times we are living in.
The practice intentionally moves energy through the body to stimulate mental, physical and spiritual health, leading to a place where a clarity arises within you through perception, thought and intuition. Many people describe the experience as powerful and uplifting.
It is open to all. Every stage of life or fitness level, Kundalini Yoga can have immediate benefits and is known to help with longevity.
Eloise will guide you through a specific targeted Kriya for you to focus on each week. It could be for improving digestion, for detoxification, balancing the chakras (energy centres), or a heart-opening Kriya.
Each Kriya includes Pranayama (breathing techniques), followed by a Shivasana (relaxation) and a meditation to complete your practice.
