Designed with the minimum of equipment required, this workshop will teach you the basics of woodcut and hand printing. Produce your own woodcut stamp to then print away lots of beautiful designs, and take home with you.
It will cover everything from suitable image design through to accurate registration allowing you to produce accurate prints with exciting and varied results.

Creative Summer School Soiree – Saturday 16th July, 6–8.30pm
At the end of the week, we welcome you to join us for a Summer School Soiree!
Students and tutors will be invited to exhibit their work at the House, enjoy a glass of fizz, and celebrate the variety of crafts made throughout the week. If you would like to exhibit the work that you have created during the Creative Summer School then please let your tutor or the Kingshill House team know. Works will be displayed for the Soiree evening only, and then you are free to take them home or collect them the following week.
About your tutor
Andrew is a practicing artist working primarily with woodcut, letterpress and screen print producing fine art prints and printed ephemera. After completing a Masters Degree in Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking at the University of the West of England, he began tutoring evening classes at Gloucestershire Printmakers Co-operative where he has been an established tutor for over 10 years.
