Learn artisan silversmithing techniques and a little of the history of silver and hallmarking whilst enjoying making your own bangle design in the peaceful and beautiful setting of Kingshill House.
At the end of the workshop you’ll not only have some lovely personalised jewellery to take away, but also a huge sense of well being, pride and achievement.

About your Tutor
Wendy Murphy is a jeweller, based in the Forest of Dean, and uses sterling silver and gold to make handcrafted jewellery. As a qualified B.Ed teacher she has been tutoring adult students for the last 13 years both with Adult Education and privately at workshops and longer courses throughout the UK.
Hundreds of budding silver jewellers have come through her doors and emerged confident having achieved highly satisfying results by learning traditional artisan skills and techniques passed down the centuries and now, enhanced with modern equipment.
Some students have even gone on to run their own jewellery businesses and teach others themselves.
Wendy’s classes are fun, safe, structured yet informal and highly enjoyed by all who take part.
