Herbal teas and health workshops
Have you ever wanted to blend your own herbal tea?
Herbs and spices have been used since ancient times to aid health, and many of our
favourite ones like chamomile, rosemary, ginger and turmeric can be blended into
tasty herbal teas. In these workshops you will learn the art of creating tea, and how
to blend herbs together to support different wellbeing needs. You will also explore
other lifestyle tips to support your health. Over four sessions the workshops will
provide herbs and health tips for:
· Mental wellness and relaxation
· Creating good sleep
· Autumn immune health
· Digestive health
What will you create?
You will create your own herbal teas to enjoy in the sessions, plus can make teas to
take home to your family and friends. You will receive a free book on how to blend
herbal teas to you can continue learning at home. The workshops will introduce you
to around 30 different herbs and spices and all of them are organic. You will also
come away with lifestyle tips to support aspects of your health.
Who are the workshops for?
These are open to adults wishing to understand more about their health, and who
are curious about herbalism. Note the workshops explore our daily health needs and
cannot support individuals seeking advice on more serious health conditions.
Workshop host
Dr Viv Rolfe is a scientist who has researched herbs and the human body for many
years. In her teaching she weaves herbal traditions and scientific evidence together,
and uses this knowledge to create her own herbal teas which you can find at local
markets. She is a registered Health Coach and passionate about guiding people to
live well and learn about sleep, relaxation, good food, movement and the social and
spiritual elements of their lives.
