Join us for this special event as the Acapellies Community Choir perform "Sanctuary" - their wonderful new sound project.


Sanctuary creates a healing space of acoustic sound vibration that is truly captivating and deeply absorbing. The Acapellies will surround you with swirling, healing harmonies as they sing in a large circle around their audience. Audience members are invited to close their eyes and enjoy this immersive experience.


The Acapellies specialise in traditional unaccompanied polyphonic songs from around the world and their hour-long programme will include traditional folksongs from Georgia, Bulgaria, Corsica and the UK. Some of the songs in the programme are about nature, others are about common humanity or spiritual expression.


This is set to be a truly special event that you won't forget in a hurry!

  • Children (under 14s) free with donations welcome on the night


There are two performances on the day:


3-4pm (doors open at 2:30pm, bar open between 2:30pm and 3pm) Last admission 2.55pm.



4:30-5:30pm (doors open at 4pm, bar open between 4pm - 4.30pm). Last admission 4.25pm.

Acapellies Choir is a community choir from Stroud, Gloucestershire, directed by Eleanor Holliday (Natural Voice Network), and they have been singing together for over 7 years. They specialise in traditional unaccompanied polyphonic songs from around the world; creating a truly unique, immersive choral experience for their audience. Their previous work 'The Gratitude Project', was created during the pandemic, rehearsed outdoors, and received great acclaim in 2021. This was followed by their most recent project, 'Songs of Fortitude', which was focused on a communal feeling of resilience, hope and support during these complex times we live in. They are now performing their new choral work - ‘Sanctuary’.
