Garden Arts and Forest Crafts with Wild Acres (HAF)
Wednesday 2nd, 9th, 16th & 23rd August
10am - 2pm
This event is free of charge.
Kingshill House is proud to host Garden Arts and Forest School Summer Activities led by Wild Acres, funded by Stroud District Council as part of the Holiday Activities and Food Programme 2023 (HAF).
These outdoor activities are suitable for children 8 - 12 years who enjoy being creative in an outdoor space (wet weather facilities available). Based in and around the fabulous Willow Dome in the Kingshill House’s garden.
We will make miniature gardens, hanging plant containers and decorate pots which the children can take home. Lunch will be prepared by all involved and cooked on a fire pit (expect sizzling vegetarian sausages and the like!). It’s not all sitting down though and there will be plenty of opportunities to let off steam with energetic games.
These are stand-alone events and children are welcome to attend more than one session.
Please follow this link to register for this activity (please note that you must be a Stroud District resident to sign up for this activity).

Wild Acres was started in the Severn Vale during the pandemic as an inclusive space for our local communities and others to get actively involved in a wide range of land, eco-friendly and nature based activities.
This includes the growing of vegetables and other useful plants, conservation projects, recycling initiatives, arts, crafts and healthy eating.
