Wildhogs Talk and Family Activities
2-3pm & 3-4pm
Wild Hogs Hedgehog Rescue is based in Frampton on Severn and cover Dursley and Cam and surrounding areas. The hedgehog rescue has been caring for sick, injured and orphaned hedgehogs and hoglets since 2010.
Join Hospital Manager, Emily, as she shares photos of the hedgehogs in the rescue, talking about their conservation and how you can help hedgehogs in your own garden by creating hedgehog homes and how to make your garden more hedgehog friendly.
There will be three hedgehog themed activities for children:
- Clay hedgehogs
- Hedgehog masks (both suitable for children over 5)
- Hogstickle course (suitable for children over 3)
There are two time-slots, with limited availability. You can pre-book or pay on the day if there are spaces left.
One child per £5 ticket - adults are free. Additional siblings are £2.
Just for information, they don't bring live animals to talks. The hedgehogs in the hospital are sick or injured and easily stressed. They bring lots of photos, toys or games instead. Learning to appreciate wildlife in its natural environment without disturbance is an important part of conservation.
