Join Bryn Davies and experience the magic of Movement Medicine - a therapeutic conscious dance practice. Drop deeper into the practice and find the medicine to support your wellbeing.
Take a moment to imagine a time when you played freely without those worries and anxieties of the adult mind where a stone lying on the grass was a gateway to a story about trolls and goblins or a feather became wings that in a beat sent you high in the sky gliding through the clouds.
During the workshop, you will dance to a diverse range of music from classical, disco, funk and electronic dance music. This carefully collated mix of rhythms will help you find the joy, freedom and release as you’ll connect with the music and each other.
Through imagination (and great music!) Bryn will lead you on a playful dance where you’ll explore the Movement Medicine Element Map: Earth & Awakening, Fire & Integrity, Water & Surrender, Air & Gratitude.
This workshop is for all adults it is a semi-led practice. You won’t be learning steps or choreography – the dance is your own.
What you will need:
Bryn is running a new series of 4 workshops this summer: 15 April, 27 May, 17 June and 22 July. Individual sessions are £25 or you can block book all 4 for £80.

About the tutor:
Bryn has been passionate about movement since studying physical theatre in 2000. In 2014, his curiosity about healing and bodywork led him to train as a massage & Shiatsu therapist. He has been involved in the conscious dance space for over 10 years. His journey with Movement Medicine started in 2018, and he has since completed his Apprenticeship and then become a Teacher in Training*.
Bryn has found the Movement Medicine practice is one of the most powerful tools to help him with the challenges in his own life, allowing him to feel more grounded, open, present and resilient. Through Movement Medicine, he has found the space to be himself, to trust himself and his own innate embodied wisdom. It is this that has drawn him to the vocation of sharing this practice with others.
*As a Teacher in Training he has completed 135 hours of training with the School of Movement Medicine and is a member of the Movement Medicine Association.
