Spend the day with local Calligraphy Artist Adele Dark, learning how to write Modern Calligraphy with a pointed pen. Write out your own ‘Recipe for Love’ for a loved one or a favourite family recipe you want to keep forever. Illustrate your recipe with quirky kitchen tools found in medieval manuscripts. Calligraphy is proven to lower blood pressure and quiet that busy mind.
You will also be able to share a light lunch of a vegan soup, bread roll, fruit and cake, included in the ticket price.
Adele Dark is an artist, Fine Art Printmaking graduate from Brighton and a qualified teacher who brings a wide range of skill and experience of working with students of all ages to her workshops. Adele has been studying Calligraphy and Lettering for over 10 years and is a member of the Society of Scribes and CLAS. She completed the SSI Advanced Training Scheme and has studied with Master Calligraphers in the UK and abroad.
