Back for his second workshop of our festive fortnight, Andy Kinnear will support you to produce your own unique set of Christmas cards using the woodcut block printing technique. He will guide you through designing and cutting your woodblock and then using the blocks to print.
As well as all materials, your ticket price includes a delicious and wholesome lunch of vegan soup, a doll, fruit and cake.
This workshop is tailored to suit all abilities so you can be as intricate or simple with your design as you like.
Andy is a practicing artist working primarily with woodcut, letterpress and screen print producing fine art prints and printed ephemera. After completing his Masters Degree in Multi-Disciplinary Printmaking at the University of the West of England, he began tutoring evening classes at Gloucestershire Printmakers Co-operative where he has been an established tutor for over 10 years.
