Our final day of festive fortnight sees local calligrapher Adele Dark returning to Kingshill house to run two workshops.
In the morning workshop participants will be making festive gift tags and the afternoon session will turn attention to the more painterly of task of producing bespoke handmade wrapping paper.
In both workshops, Adele will support participants to look to look to letter patterns for our source of inspiration, creating bespoke gift tags and wrap on sustainable paper using an automatic pen and gouache paint. Embrace the arts and crafts vibe to label and wrap your gifts for the special people in your life.
Adele Dark is an artist, Fine Art Printmaking graduate from Brighton and a qualified teacher who brings a wide range of skill and experience of working with students of all ages to her workshops. Adele has been studying Calligraphy and Lettering for over 10 years and is a member of the Society of Scribes and CLAS. She completed the SSI Advanced Training Scheme and has studied with Master Calligraphers in the UK and abroad.
