About Your Tutor
Athene Greig is a Stroud based artist who makes watercolour paintings exploring gesture, colour and light. She studied Fine Art at the Glasgow School of Art from 2001-2005 and took part in the Turps Studio Programme, London from 2015-2107. Following a 10 year period living in London and working for several contemporary artists, she and her family have relocated to Gloucestershire in search of a gentler pace of life.
Athene joined an online Maternal Journal group in May 2021 as a means to connect with other mothers during the pandemic and have a positive creative outlet. She is delighted to be able to share creative journalling with a new group at Kingshill House.
