Off We Go... Project

​Since the pandemic, many of us have been feeling more anxious, especially when faced with going out-and-about or interacting with others. The NHS, in partnership with local organisations, are trying to help people to overcome their worries and to rediscover their positivity.

We're pleased to be part of this programme of creative activities designed to boost confidence and assist with well-being. Here's what Kingshill House has on offer...

Introduction to Taijiquan & Qigong
​Tuesdays 6.30pm-7.30pm


​A wonderful way to spend an evening at Kingshill House, where your instructor Joe will support you through the basics of this ancient practice.

Print Play Repeat with Jo Beale
​Saturday 14th May 10.30am-12.30pm

Make printing blocks from everyday items. Cover a page, create a repeat pattern or random design, get stuck in, play and have fun!

Experimental Nature Sketchbooks
​Saturday 11th June 10.30am-12.30pm


​A playful and experimental workshop incorporating drawing and collaging.  Make and use an eight-page folded sketchbook and then collage different papers onto the pages, playing with pattern and texture. 

Cut, Mark, Make with Jo Beale
​Thursdays 7pm-8.30pm


​A three-week evening session in drawing, mark making, collage and experimenting. Have fun! There’s no right or wrong in this workshop. Join us for one session or all three. Just be sure to book each session.
