Jen is a self-taught crafter specialising in macramé and has always had a passion for crafts especially learning traditional techniques. Originally from Ireland Jen moved to Bristol, UK in 2012 and set up her small business K&S at the end of 2013.
Jen’s macramé adventure started when she wanted to make plant pot hangers for some of her houseplants. A friend showed Jen the basic knots and then she began to teach herself more advanced macramé techniques. Now Jen specialises in plant pot hangers but also makes and sells a range of wall hangings, accessories and homewares as well as being a workshop facilitator.
Passing on the skills she has learnt has become a new passion, Jen has been running both public and private macramé workshops on a regular basis since Spring 2015. This has given her a lot of experience and she likes to think her classes are a relaxing and fun way to get creative and learn a new skill.
